Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between your company (“you”) and Closenture (“we”) for the use of the Closenture app and website. By creating an account or using Closenture, you accept them on behalf of your company.
1. The service
Closenture is a CRM for contractors: lead intake, appointments, contracts with electronic signature, invoices and payment records, reports and related features, as described on this website. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove a core feature you pay for without telling you in advance.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for the people you invite, the roles you give them and what they do in your account.
- Keep sign-in details private. Tell us at once if you think an account has been misused.
- You must be at least 18 and able to act for your company.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Monthly plans are billed each month in advance and continue until cancelled. Yearly plans are billed for 12 months in advance.
- Prices are on the pricing page. Founding Contractor prices stay the same for 24 months while the account stays active and paid.
- You can cancel at any time. A monthly plan ends at the end of the month already paid. A yearly plan runs until the end of its year.
- If you ask within 30 days of your first payment, we refund your first month.
- If an invoice stays unpaid after a reminder, we may pause the account until it is paid. Pausing does not delete data.
- Prices do not include taxes, which are added where the law requires.
4. Your data
- You own the data you put into Closenture, including your customers’ data. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide and support the service for you.
- You can export it at any time. After you cancel and ask us to delete it, we delete it as described in the privacy policy.
- You are responsible for having the right to collect and use your customers’ data, including any consent the law requires to call, text or email them.
5. Contracts, notices and legal content
Closenture gives you tools to write and sign contracts and includes standard notices, such as the federal 3-day right to cancel. You are responsible for the content of your contracts and for following the laws that apply to your business, your licenses and your state. Nothing in Closenture is legal advice; have your contract text reviewed by a lawyer.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Closenture to send spam or unwanted messages, to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to try to reach other companies’ data, to overload or attack the service, or to copy it to build a competing product.
7. Other services
Some features connect to services we do not control, such as Google, Meta, Zapier or email providers. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their availability.
8. AI features
Answers and suggestions from AI features can be wrong. Check them before acting on them.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep Closenture available and back it up daily, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. Support is by email at [email protected], in English or Spanish.
10. Warranties and limits of liability
Closenture is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and email account owners at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Closenture after that means you accept the change.
